Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the western in an excellent game for beginner level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, starting players don’t have to be concerned about other, more experienced gamblers winning their $$$$.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game pace, beginners can take their time and strategize while not needing to make hasty choices.
It is also simpler to bet on for an extended time with just a little amount of cash after all, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the dealer is dealt seven cards face down.
One five card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
